From Øystese, the tour goes on to the stunning Hardangerfjord and the charming old trading post of Herandsholmen, surrounded by majestic mountains and the beautiful fjord.
From there, you continue along Mt. Samlen, crossing the fjord again and heading into the narrow, unique fjord arm called Fyksesund. This is the only fjord arm without a road leading to its end.
For the last five kilometres of the 10,5-kilometre-long fjord, you will drive between steep mountainsides all the way to the isolated hamlet of Botnen.
During the adrenaline-filled trip, the guide will stop several times to allow you to enjoy the view of this magical landscape. You will also hear interesting facts about the area and stories of people who lived there.
There are also numerous waterfalls where the boat will stop to give you the feeling of nature’s powers.
