Brakanes Hotel

Brakanes Hotel is part of the Norwegian Historic Hotels and Restaurants with long traditions in hospitality. Since the 19^th century, it has welcomed guests from close and far. Throughout the times, the hotel has been rebuilt and restructured several times but stands today as a modern and comfortable hotel.  

Situated on the shores of the Ulvikfjord in the centre of Ulvik, the pearl of Hardanger, it’s the ideal place to use as a base as you explore this scenic part of the region. The beautiful garden invites to relaxing moments and those who wish can use the sauna and outdoor jacuzzi combined with refreshing dips in the fjord. There is also an indoor pool if the fjord feels a bit too cold.  

The excellent restaurant “Draumen” (the dream), serves delicious meals based on locally sourced produce.
