Hop on the local Norled boat in Eidfjord and sail along the fjord to Ulvik, the Pearl of Hardanger. The voyage takes 35 minutes and allows you to relax while you watch the pretty landscape glide past. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as seals, porpoises, and sea eagles.
Surrounded by fruit orchards, Ulvik is a charming fjord village in which to spend some time. You can walk along the fruit farms, visit some of the cider producers and taste their apple products, including the famous Hardanger cider.
