Discover a hidden side of Fjord Norway on this unforgettable day tour from Odda. Travel by minivan along the breathtaking waterfall route to the stunning Åkrafjord – a secret gem most people just drive past.
Your journey begins in Odda and takes you through dramatic landscapes, starting with a photo stop at the iconic Låtefoss waterfall. From Fjæra quay, enjoy a peaceful 45-minute fjord cruise through the Åkrafjord, surrounded by steep mountains.
The main highlight of the fjord cruise is the phenomenal views to the Langfoss Waterfall, which tumbles 612 metres straight into the fjord. Did you know that it’s been named one of the world’s 10 most beautiful waterfalls by CNN Travel?
The route isn’t called the Waterfall Route without reason. Låtefoss and Langfoss are just two of the waterfalls you will see on this tour.
After disembarking, you will get to see Langfoss from another angle – now from the viewpoint next to the road. The tour continues to Åkrafjordtunet or Eljervik Farm for an optional lunch or something to drink.
The return drive takes you via the scenic Rullestadjuvet gorge, arriving back in Odda by mid-afternoon – filled with memories of fjords, waterfalls, and hidden beauty.
Itinerary:
- 09:30: Departure from Odda
- 10:00: Photo stop at Låtefoss Waterfall
- 11:00: Arrival to Fjæra harbour
- 11:15: Fjord cruise on the Åkrafjord
- 12:00: Return to Fjæra
- 12:15: Photo stop at Langfoss Waterfall
- 12:45: Lunch*
- 13:30: Return to Odda
- 14:30: Arrival back in Odda
*Buy lunch box with local products (incl. cured meats, sausages, cheese and smoked salmon) as an add-on when booking, or opt for lunch in the restaurant.

We need a minimum of 2 participants to run the tour. If the minimum is not reached, we will contact you to offer an alternative.
The order of the itinerary can be changed and will be confirmed by the driver.
Lunch is not included but you can buy a lunch box (not vegetarian/vegan) as an add-on when booking the tour, or the meal of your choice in the restaurant upon arrival.
