Have you even been to Hardanger if you haven’t tasted the local cider? Vøringsfoss Hotel offers a sample of 3 ciders and 3 small bites of local food.

The perfect afternoon activity before you board the ship!

Hardanger is famous for fruit farming and cider production. A craft that was introduced to the region by English monks in the 14th century. The skills have been handed down throughout the generations ever since, and cider production for commercial purposes have become increasingly popular in recent years. Now, there are more than 20 registered producers spread across the region, who all make their own twist to it.
