Your journey begins at the quay in Eidfjord, where you board the bus for a 10 minutes drive to the Norwegian Nature Centre. Here, you’ll get to watch the impressive panoramic video before you have time to explore the interactive exhibitions on your own for a deep dive into Norway’s nature, geology and climate.
The tour continues by bus through the steep and narrow Måbødalen valley, a highlight in itself, before reaching Vøringsfossen. This is one of Norway’s most famous waterfalls with a drop of 182 metres. Spend an hour walking around to the different viewpoints before getting back on the bus for your return to Eidfjord.
On the bus, an audio guide shares fascinating insights into the nature and history of the area.
